This unit is made from aircraft grade 6061 billet aluminium, and anodised silver to resist corrosion (it is also paintable).
The outlet features two x 1/8npt threads to allow for temperature/fan senders.
Please measure your intake manifold before ordering. This part is 35.0mm The outlet will fit some other manifolds, however you need to measure before purchase.
The stock Nissan outlet is well documented for corrosion, and the best way to remove the rusty old unit is to use a metal saw and gently cut through the tin inside the the manifold, and gently remove it. Caution: do not "wiggle it out" as that action will bruise the port and potentially cause sealing issues for the new part.
It's best practice to freeze the new unit for 25min or similar before installation.
Use your favourite sealing compound around the press fit section on the new outlet before you insert. Tap the fitting home with a wooden or rubber mallet.
